Cloud computing is the practice of using internet servers for storing images, video, zip, and other important files.
There are many companies which provide these facilities. eg Google (Google drive), Microsoft (one drive).

You can store your important files on the remote computer. If you lose any file from the original computer, you can connect to the other computer on the internet to restore it.
An example of cloud computing is ThinkFree and Microsoft Office Live. You can also use excel, PowerPoint, word, etc. with the help of Microsoft office live.
ThinkFree also gives access to the office programs that do not have installed on your personal computer.
